From Pilots to Practice

Mark Fenton is a public health, planning, and transportation consultant who is guiding leaders all over the country to create more active and more livable cities, towns, and neighborhoods. SOPHIA's Equity in HIA and HiAP Working Group hosted a special meeting with Mark where he shared:

• Elements of successful pop-up/demonstration pilot projects
• Lighter/Quicker/Cheaper (LQC) projects to move the needle forward with decision-makers.
• Using temporary wins to drive permanent change
