Public health preparedness requires cross-sector collaboration and coordination to protect community health and safety. This webinar introduced a comprehensive guide on how to integrate the Health in All Policies (HiAP) framework into preparedness practices in public health and emergency management. By integrating a HiAP approach, practitioners can better address the health implications of decisions, improve outcomes and promote equity. Our speakers, Sandra Whitehead and Christine Ortiz Gumina, explored the four phases of the disaster management cycle and illustrated the application of HiAP tools and resources to promote effective collaboration in building more resilient communities.
