Dr. Sandra Whitehead is the program director of the Sustainable Urban Planning Program at George Washington and the president of the Society of Practitioners of Health in All Policies. Dr. Whithead is a nationally recognized expert on HIA and cumulative impact assessment. She is the author of numerous articles and book chapters and is the co-author of the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council's recommendations to the US EPA Adminstrator on cumulative impact assessment. She lives and teaches in Washington, DC.
