Cumulative Impact Process Model Webinar

  • 23 Mar 2023
  • 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM (EDT)
  • Zoom (RSVP to be sent a link)

How can HIA be used to address the long-term impacts of systemic injustice? Join us as SOPHIA welcomes Charles Lee from US EPA's Office of Environmental Justice and External Civil Rights to discuss the implementation model for cumulative impact assessment that the agency is crafting. Charles joined us during December's Practitioner Workshop where he introduced the EPA's cumulative impacts framework to influence regulatory decisions.* During this upcoming webinar, Charles will discuss the EPA's process model, which is derived from HIA, then open the floor for questions, comments and discussion.

You'll be emailed a Zoom link the day before the event (check your spam if you haven't received it!); please join us at the link at the meeting time. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please email our Coordinator if you have any questions or trouble accessing.

*"Cumulative Impacts refers to the total burden – positive, neutral, or negative – from chemical and non-chemical stressors and their interactions that affect the health, well-being, and quality of life of an individual, community, or population at a given point in time or over a period of time."
